Sue's Sewing Closet

Hello I am Sue. I have been a seamstress for most of my life. I started sewing when I was 15 years old, mainly making clothing for myself because I have always enjoyed fashion and loved having new styles of clothing that no one else had.

30+ years ago I started Sue's Sewing Closet out of my home in Arizona, as I have received many requests to do alterations, repairs, drapery, bridal and baptismal gowns. As requests grew I decided that maybe I could make this an actual business while working a full-time job.

I moved back to Minnesota in 1993 and continued my business of Sue's Sewing Closet out of my home in Coon Rapids. My journey brought me to Oak Grove 9 years ago and I have been going strong ever since.

 

I have many clients from all walks of life including corporate companies, facilities, brides & their bridal parties, or as simple as a one time hem of a pair of pants.

 

I am very creative and skilled in what I do, that I have found myself having to use my creative skills to solve some VERY interesting project issues that my clients have presented me with over the years.
